Melissa Zrada is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Integrative STEM Education. An alumna of TCNJ, she earned dual undergraduate degrees in 2012 – a B.S. in Technology Education and a B.A. in Interactive Multimedia. In 2018, Zrada earned her Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University in Cognitive Science in Education. She also holds an M.S. in Neuroscience and Education (2017) from Teachers College.
Zrada’s research interests include student question-asking in STEM, creativity, gestures for self, and data visualizations. She teaches courses such as Creative Design, Structures and Mechanisms, Integrative STEM for Young Learners, and Integrative STEM Pedagogy.
