The Integrative STEM (iSTEM) Summer Academy challenges middle school and high school students to be problem solvers. Through hands-on learning across the STEM disciplines, students will be challenged to think creatively as they design and innovate their own unique solutions, fabricate prototypes, and prepare for their future careers!
Week 1 – July 6th to July 10th, 2026
iSTEM MakerCraft Day Camp
The iSTEM MakerCraft Summer Camp, gives participants an experience in product design. Not only will campers learn how to use CAD software to design a wearable product but they will also learn how to use Matlab and Simulink software to program their device. Campers will get hands-on experiences in 3D printing, laser cutting, coding, and basic electronics.
Grade Level: Rising 8th – 12th graders
Week 2 – July 13th to July 17th, 2026
iSTEM Automation and Robotics Day Camp
The iSTEM Automation and Robotics Camp gives participants an experience in programming microcontroller devices to help a robot accomplish various tasks. Campers will learn how to design automated circuits, create real-world prototypes using rapid prototyping technology, and program in the MathWorks Simulink environment to gain control of their robot.
Grade Level: Rising 8th – 12th graders
